Lightning Kills

In Mexico, lightning recently struck and killed five children who were praying to god at the base of a large cross. Tragic.

A logical person may reasonably ask, "Why would god do this, why would he allow this to happen?" That same person may also logically hypothesize that an all-caring god simply wouldn't allow this to occur. That same person may then proceed to conclude that god must not exist.

I can already hear Pat Robertson saying, "Obviously, these children were evil and deserved to be punished for X," where X equals something along the lines of being homosexual, supporting homosexuals, supporting abortion, or something else equally stupendous.
